Bid Intent Not Available Question Acceptance Deadline 06/13/2022 06:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No The City is issuing this RFP to preselect blower equipment manufacturers for the Wastewater Treatment Plant High Efficiency Blower Improvements Project. The City intends to select one (1) blower equipment manufacturer that will subsequently be identified in the specifications, and the equipment price will be included in the construction bid form. The General Contractor will be required to contract with the pre-selected blower equipment manufacturer at the previously negotiated equipment price. Minimum Qualifications: Proposals will be considered only from manufacturers who: Are financially responsible. Have experienced personnel and reliable manufacturing capabilities to provide the required equipment. Have a minimum of 10 years of experience producing similar direct-drive single-stage centrifugal blower packages for the North American municipal wastewater treatment industry with similar capacity, motor horsepower, and discharge pressure design criteria specified herein, as a minimum. Have over 100 distinct installations of the specified blower technology in operation for at least 2 years, and at least five distinct U.S. municipal wastewater treatment installations of the size and model of blower proposed in satisfactory operation for at least 2 years. The City will not count installations pre-acquisition if the company or technology has been sold previously. The City has included technical specifications in Attachment F. Manufacturers that meet the above minimum mandatory qualifications and can meet or exceed the requirements found in the technical specifications may submit a proposal.
