Addendum: 1 The City of Longmont is seeking a qualified Consultant to provide engineering design services for roadway improvements to County Line Road. The Consultant shall perform or supply all necessary services as specified in the RFP and assist the City with meeting any state and federal requirements on this Local Agency project. Consultant services may include, but is not limited to: data gathering and field investigation (e.g. surveying, utility locating & potholing, etc.); evaluation of differing bike lane concepts, preparation of design reports; designing all elements for the proposed improvements (initial and final design); preparing construction plans, specifications and bid documents; environmental clearance; utility coordination including subsurface underground engineering and clearance; right-of-way plan preparation (if needed) and clearance; public engagement; inter-agency coordination; cost estimating; and overall project management. The design phase will include Field Inspection Review (FIR), Final Office Review (FOR) and final construction drawings and cost estimates. The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) determined the contract goal for DBE participation on this project is 0%. Minimum Qualifications: Proposals will be considered only from Consultants who: Are pre-qualified with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT); and Have at least 5 years of experience providing transportation engineering design services; and Are assigning a Project Manager to the project who is a Professional Engineer currently licensed with the State of Colorado.
