Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hayward, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Stinnett is requesting bids for the repair of 752 feet of Chippanazie Rd starting approximately 1 mile north of Hayward Rd then heading toward Chippanazie Lake Rd. Work consists of excavating 25' x 752' removing the existing pavement and 16" of the existing base, regrade subgrade, installation of Geo grid for full width of the subgrade, adding approximately 8" of 4"/5" breaker run for the full subgrade width, installation of geotextile fabric over breaker run, then add 8" of compacted gravel and shape for paving. Water is to be used for compaction. Pave with 21' by 2" compacted 4LT 58-28S hot mix asphalt. Add 2' gravel shoulders. After removing the existing pavement and 16" of base, there is a section of the 752' road that is approximately a 50' x 25' x 2' pocket of bad material to be excavated and backfilled with sand prior to completing this section of the road. The Town of Stinnett reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in part or whole or to accept the bid(s) deemed most advantageous to the Town of Stinnett and to waive any irregularities in the proposed process. A Certificate of Insurance and W-9 is required from the successful bidder.
