Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Hayward, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Portage County Highway Department (OWNER) is accepting sealed bids for a bridge replacement construction project, Linden Road. The contract completion time is 40 working days with all in-stream activities complete by September 15, 2023. Items of work include bridge removal of Structure P-49-26 and replacement with a slab span bridge. All material and work performed shall be in accordance with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and the Projects Special Provisions. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked Bid for Linden Road, Flume Creek Crossing. The OWNER reserve the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bid or bids that best serves the interests of the OWNER. Bid is anticipated to be awarded at the April 18, 2023 Portage County Board of Supervisors meeting, depending on the OWNERs needs, budgets, and schedules.
