For the NORTH ATHERTON PLACE SIGNAL REPLACEMENT PROJECT. Clarification Deadline: 6/17/2022 2:00 PM Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted the questions feature within portal. The Project involves the replacement of a pole and mast arm and other work as indicated on the Construction Plans in Patton Township, Centre County, PA. All materials shall meet or exceed requirements of Specifications of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Publication 408 and Publication 72M. The Contractor is responsible for the maintenance of traffic control during the Project. PennDOT pre-qualification is necessary for this project. The work under this Project is subject to prevailing wage in accordance with requirements of the Department of Labor and Industry of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Each bid must be accompanied by a 10% bid surety in the form of a bond or certified check payable to Patton Township, and be guaranteed for 90 days. A performance bond of 100% of the project cost will be required of the successful bidder. Patton Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to select the bid it deems to be in the best interest of the Township. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $ 1,500.00 per calendar day.
