Rehabilitation of Homes The Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria requests price proposals from responsive and responsible contractors for the rehabilitation of one (1) home located on the Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria. Only licensed and bonded contractors need apply. Before commencing work, the Contractor and each subcontractor shall furnish the Owner with certificates of insurance showing the following insurance is in force and will insure all operations under the Contract: 1. Workers' Compensation, in accordance with state or Territorial Workers' Compensation laws. 2. Commercial General Liability with a combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage of not less than $250,000 per occurrence to protect the Contractor and each subcontractor against claims for bodily injury or death and damage to the property of others. 3. Automobile Liability on owned and non owned motor vehicles used on the site(s) or in connection therewith for a combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage of not less than $100,000 per occurrence. Indian Preference: Competition in this bid solicitation will be open to all qualified bidders. However, if a bid is received from at least one qualified Indian organization or Indian-owned economic enterprise and this bid is within of the bid of the lowest responsible bidder, the contract will be awarded to the Indian organization or Indian-owned economic enterprise. Bidders claiming Indian preference will be required to submit a completed questionnaire/ statement to the Owner. This project is funded by IHBG ARP grant. Federal prevailing wage requirements apply to this project. Prospective contractors are invited to attend a site walkthrough to inspect the property and further define the scope of work to be done.
