1. Introduction. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement for a three (3) phase HVAC system repair located at USCG ANT Crisfield as per Attachment 1, Statement of Work. 2. Delivery Location. U.S. Coast Guard ANT Crisfield, 810 Norris Harbor Drive, Crisfield, MD 21817 3. Applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code. The applicable NAICS code is 238220 "Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors". 4. Type of Contracts to be Awarded. As a result of this solicitation, USCG plans to award one Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order. 5. Commercial Item Determination. This contract meets the definition of "Commercial Items" in accordance with FAR Part 2.101. 6. Type of Solicitation. This solicitation is governed by FAR Part 13.302, "Purchase Orders". 7. Basis for Award. The Government intends to award the purchase order to the Vendor who's quote is determined to be the Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA). 8. Site Visit. All bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site to verify all units/areas that are to be assessed. Site visits shall be scheduled on Monday, June 13, 2022 - Thursday, June 16, 2022. 9. Questions. All questions regarding this solicitation must be received by Monday, June 20, 2022 at 12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). Questions received after this time and date may or may not be addressed by USCG. Questions will only be accepted in email format. Questions received in any other format will be disregarded. The deadline for quotes submission is Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). Any quote received after the aforementioned date and time risks immediate rejection by the Contracting Officer. Quotes will only be accepted by email; any quote received by USCG that is not emailed will not be considered for award. All quote emails shall be addressed to the attention of Contracting Officer, SK2 Allyson Breeden at Allyson.C.Breeden@uscg.mil. 11. Disclaimer. This RFQ shall not be considered direction to proceed with the subject effort. This RFQ is not a promise of future direction to proceed. Offerors are solely responsible for all RFQ submission costs. 12. Quote Submission Instructions. Quotes shall be limited per the instructions outlined below. Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. (MAR 2000) (a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 30 days provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 30 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed three years.
