It is the intent of the VA to bring back the CHP online and run the 1.5 MW Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system at the Waco Medical Center, TX. The system has been idling for more than a year. The VA wants to have a periodic and emergency maintenance on the entire CHP system. The CHP is comprised of 5 major components: 1.5 MW Kawasaki Gas Turbine Machine 24,000 lbs/Hr, Heat Recovery Steam Generation (HRSG) unit a Steam Boiler, by Hays Cleveland Natural Gas Compressor Enerflex (Parker) (2) Air Compressors - Atlas Copco air compressors Controls This Request for Quotations has been updated by issuing Amendment 0001.
