As of May 17, 2024, the construction manager has released the project for sub bidding. Emerick, as the CM/GC, is Seeking Subcontractor Bids for Cannon Beach City Hall & Police Project - Modular Building Procurement Early Work Bid Package. This Early Work Bid Package Includes the Purchase, Delivery, Setup, Tear-down, and Relocation of a (24') Twenty-four Feet by (60') Sixty-foot Modular Building Unit. Project Description The City intends the structure to be located on the eastern side of the current City Hall/Police Station site. The entire site is 1.22 acres and the available land for construction is 0.76 acres. The new facility will house the Police Department, Community Development Department, Administration, Public Works Admin, I/T, Finance, Emergency Management, the Haystack Rock Awareness Program and the Farmers Market. The City Council Chamber that will double as an Emergency Operations Center. The will be no pre-bid for this bid package. The prevailing wage rates for Public Works Contracts in Oregon (State ORS 279.348 - 279.380), published semi-annually by the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, dated January 1st, 2024.
