This Work includes the supply of all labour, materials, equipment and services required to complete the construction of the Edmonton – Strathcona County Footbridge. The Work is to take place over top of and adjacent to the North Saskatchewan River between Township Road 540 in Strathcona County and 167 Avenue NW in the City of Edmonton. The Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Mobilization and demobilization Traffic and pedestrian accommodation and staging Work Site management including temporary construction facilities, security, and protection of existing Utilities All survey required during the Work Environmental management Tree protection and management Detailed verification of existing site conditions Installation and removal of temporary access berms Excavation and structural backfill at abutments Driven steel H-piles at abutments Cast-in-place concrete bored piles at piers Cast-in-place concrete abutments Cast-in-place concrete piers Bridge bearings Steel trapezoidal box girder including diaphragms Cast-in-place concrete deck, roof slabs, and approach slabs Pedestrian railings Deck joints Rip rap slope protection Permanent erosion and sediment control, including re-vegetation of disturbed slopes Bridge lighting New shared-use-path construction New surface concrete work, including plaza construction and site furniture Work Site cleanup and restoration Warranty and maintenance Final inspection and Contract closeout Subcontractors who are interested in providing pricing for this Project are invited to contact Graham, LCVM and Hanscomb Limited.
