This project consists of the construction of improvements to Buck Rake Blvd. in the Rodgers Subdivision in Platteville, CO. The construction will involve the removal and disposal of 4,359 SY of Asphalt Pavement, 1,430 LF of Curb and Gutter, and 705 SY of Landscaping. It will include the installation of approximately 5,150 SY of 4" H.M.A., 5,150 SY of 6" ABC (Cl. 6), 146 SY of 8" Concrete Pan and Apron, 112 LF of Vertical Curb and Gutter, 51 LF of 3' Valley Pan, 64 SY of Sidewalk, 2-ADA Ramps, and other miscellaneous work. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Town of Platteville negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactorily Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid. Checks accompanying bids not accepted will be returned to the bidders. The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance Bond and a 100% Contract Payment Bond to cover the execution of the Work which shall be in conformity with the Form of Bonds contained in the Specifications and for the Contract Amount. The Work will be substantially completed within 20 consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed and complete and ready for final payment within 10 consecutive calendar days past substantial completion.
