The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to secure a number of providers for Manual Labor services in the areas indicated in this request for proposal. All proposals must be submitted on the attached Proposal Sheet. All proposals must be submitted in the order specified on the proposal checklist in order to facilitate the submission and evaluation of proposals. Contractual Period - The contractual period will commence on September 01, 2022 (subject to change) and terminate August 31, 2023. The successful vendor shall not subcontract a third party to supplement or provide the requested service. The workmanship and material specified in this bid/proposal shall be fully guaranteed for a minimum period of one (1) year from date of delivery and/or acceptance of work, unless otherwise stated in your bid/proposal. This bid/proposal is a firm offer which shall be irrevocable and open for Acceptance for _____________ calendar days (60 calendar days unless otherwise specified) from the date of submission. A thirty (30) day minimum is required for school board approval. Proposer will comply with any applicable prevailing wage rate requirements under the federal Davis-Bacon or state or local law, including Chapter 2258 of the Government Code. As per Sec. 2253.021 of the Texas Government Code, a governmental entity that makes a public work contract with a prime contractor shall require the contractor, before beginning the work, to execute to the governmental entity a performance bond if the contract is in excess of $100,000 and a payment bond if the contract is in excess of $25,000. Provider will be responsible for providing any other information requested by EPISD, including, but not limited to, copies of certifications/licensures of Contractors, insurance information, payment bond, performance bond, statements of confidentiality, and logs of services provided. The Eagle Pass Independent School District reserves the right to waive formalities and irregularities and to accept or reject the bid/proposal or each item thereunder separately. The EPISD reserves the right to cancel any and all schedule services with a specific vendor(s) should issues arise with a vendor(s) pertaining to the quality of service including but not limited to non-compliance with requirements set out in this proposal and vendor service performance. Such cancellations shall be at the sole discretion of EPISD. The EPISD reserves the right to change/modify all subsequent agreements as provided by the contracting vendor. The modification to the agreement shall be controlling and shall supersede any other contrary language, terms or conditions. The EPISD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and it is not the policy of the EPISD to award contracts for a purchase or services on the basis of price alone; other controlling factors may be considered.
