DESCRIPTION: Construction work, in general, consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services for the construction of approximately 4,200 linear feet of 18-inch pvc water main and approximately 300 linear feet of 18-inch dip water main along the Peavine Trail between Road 2 North and Perkinsville Road. The project is funded in part by a grant U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The project is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. FINAL DATE OF INQUIRIES: Questions during the bidding process shall be directed to Steve Sullivan, Assistant Town Engineer by email at ssuliiyan@chinoaz.net no later than Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. BID BOND: All bidders desiring to prepare a responsive bid shall submit a non-revocable bid security payable to the Town in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price per the contract documents. FAIR SHARE OBJECTIVES / GOALS: Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) = 12% and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) = 5% RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS: The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in a bid or to withhold the award for any reason the Town determines.
