The Sullivan County Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for the Sonestown Log Jam Removal on Muncy Creek in Davidson Township, Sullivan County. Work shall include all materials and labor necessary for the removal of a log jam within Muncy Creek, removal of all material and debris out of the designated floodplain, proper disposal, minor access road upgrades and required traffic control. All in-stream required work must be completed in accordance with In-stream restriction on Muncy Creek, by October 1, 2022, unless a variance from the PA Fish and Boat Commission is obtained. This project is being supported in part, by American Rescue Plan Act funds awarded to Sullivan County by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage applies. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Sullivan County Commissioners or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid. Clarification Deadline: 7/26/2022 3:00 PM The Sullivan County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts.
