For Botsford and Vandine Stream Projects CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/3/2023 4:00 PM The Sullivan County Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for the Botsford Stream Project and Vandine Stream Project on Muncy Creek in Laporte Township, Sullivan County. Work shall include all materials and labor necessary for the installation of one (1) mudsill and two (2) multi-log vane deflectors within Muncy Creek at the Botsford property, and one (1) mudsill and one (1) single-log vane deflector within Muncy Creek at the Vandine property. All in-stream required work cannot commence prior to June 2, 2023, and must be completed in accordance with In-stream restriction on Muncy Creek, by October 1, 2023. This project is being supported in part, by American Rescue Plan Act funds awarded to Sullivan County by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage will not be applicable for these projects. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Sullivan County Commissioners or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid. Bids may be held by Sullivan County for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The Sullivan County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts.
