Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in South Elgin, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
The competency and responsibility of the Bidders will be considered in making awards. Bidder shall have minimum five years' experience in construction of a similar size and scope as this Project. Submit with the bid a list of projects with Owner names and phone numbers demonstrating required experience. Bidder may be required to submit a completed American Institute of Architects "Contractor's Qualification Statement" AIA Document A305 for review before making the award of the Contract. One proposal will be received for all of work including but not limited to: Playground renovation including the removal of existing woodchip surfacing, curb and walk removal, earthwork, underdrainage, installation of new curb and concrete walk, asphalt paving, wood fence, unit paving, site furnishings, playfield equipment and surfacing, and landscape restoration. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive informalities to any bid when such is deemed by the Owner to be in the Owner's own best interests.
