The project is for the stone and pavement surface rehabilitation of several sections of the LVRT (a multi-use recreational shared-use-path) totaling 2.46 miles as well as grading, paving, signing, and placement of pavement markings at two road crossings: Butler Road (SR 3001), and Boyd Street (SR 419). Each proposal must be accompanied by a copy of a certified check or bid bond payable to "Lebanon County Commissioners", in an amount not less than Ten percent (10%) of the bid total. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The contractor must familiarize himself with the site prior to submitting a bid. Lebanon County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Sponsor. All work shall be in conformance with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Publication 408, dated 2020 change 4, and the Contract Specifications. Pre-qualification of bidders, as specified in Section 102.01 of Publication 408, is NOT required on this project.
