The National Park Service, Interior Region 2 is Requesting a Quote for a requirement at the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site, Mt Pleasant, SC. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete a removal and replacement of the historic replica cedar shingle roofing, copper flashing, and copper gutters on this 17th century farmhouse. The purpose is to restore the most crucial components for protection on the exterior of the house. These systems have withstood their functional life and will be replaced with materials that match existing to comply with national historical regulations. The Contractor shall be responsible for off-site refuse disposal. The Contractor shall be responsible for work area cleanup, which shall result in a neat and professional appearance. The Statement of Work has all of the detailed requirements to remove and replace the cedar shingle roof. Site Visit: A site visit is planned on July 19, 2022 at 1:30pm EDT.
