The project, located Mount Pleasant, South Carolina shall consist of roadway construction of a mini roundabout at the intersection of Lexington Drive and All-American Boulevard. DUE DATE FOR WRITTEN QUESTIONS: July 27, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) Questions or clarifications concerning this solicitation should only be directed to the Charleston County Procurement portal on the County website at The project, located Mount Pleasant, South Carolina shall consist of roadway construction of a mini roundabout at the intersection of Lexington Drive and All-American Boulevard. The work shall include, but is not limited to, Clearing and grubbing, asphalt paving, erosion and sediment control and traffic control. The scope of utility work necessitated by the County's Project, shall include the relocation of approximately three hundred and seventy-five (375') feet of eight (8") water main and one hundred and ten feet (110') of eight-inch (8") sewer line, one (1) fire hydrant and associated appurtenances from the east side of Lexington Drive to the shoulder on the east side of AllAmerican Boulevard. The existing water main on the east side will be abandoned in-place with above ground appurtenances being removed. The project will be constructed utilizing the items listed on the bid tab forms for the paving work and the utility work in the solicitation. An additional one hundred fifty (150) days has been added to the schedule to allow time to obtain concrete pipe due to the shortage of material in the area.
