Site work for a civil project in Mount Penn, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Krafczek Streambank Restoration Project. This project was financed by the Watershed Restoration and Protection Program Grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority. The work will consist of the installation of two (2) concrete culvert pipes & wingwalls, two (2) sections of stream bank to be lined with rip rap armor, three (3) sections of streambank to be lined with block retaining walls, and the installation of one (1) concrete outfall pipe to be tied into the proposed wingwall. Implementing the regrading of the streambed and streambank for the proposed changes will require setups of bypass pumping and the associated erosion and sediment pollution control measures. The proposed work will require removal & relocation of some utilities. The project is located along the Northeast side of Endlich Avenue within the Borough extending from N. 25th Street to Philmay Terrace. Only questions submitted electronically shall be considered. Responses will be provided electronically and be visible to all Bidders. Clarification Deadline 7/19/2022 2:00 PM No responses will be provided for requests received after 12:00 pm on July 19, 2022. Bids will be publicly awarded on August 30, 2022 7:00 pm (local time) at the Mount Penn Borough Hall, 200 North 25th Street, Mt. Penn, PA 19606. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Mount Penn. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Borough. The Borough also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received.
