The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms licensed by
the Virginia Board of Contractors as a Class A Contractor to provide pipe replacement located at three separate locations
within Franklin County in the VDOT Salem District per the specifications contained in this solicitation.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The Contractor shall begin work within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of the Purchase
Order, unless otherwise approved, in writing, by the VDOT Contract Administrator. The Contractor shall provide a continuous
operation once they commence work. The Contractor shall advise the VDOT Contract Administrator at least 24 hours prior to
the commencement of work. The Contractor shall not begin work until the location and extent of work has been verified and
approved by the Contract Administrator QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS INVITATION FOR BID:

conference.
