Hauling and/or Disposal of Dewatered Sewage Sludge from the Berks-Montgomery Municipal Authority Wastewater Treatment Plants to designated disposal site.The services to be performed under this Contract shall be for the hauling in open type roll-offs of dry sludge and the lawful disposal of said sludge. The Contractor may bid for the combined services or separate services of hauling and disposal. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, and all else necessary to complete the service. The Contractor will be required to execute the Proposal and furnish a Certified Check or Surety CompanyBid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid submitted. The Surety Company must be acceptable to said Authority. The successful Bidder (Contractor) will be required to furnish a Performance Bond on the forms provided in the proposal documents, and evidence of insurance coverage as required by the proposal documents. The successful Bidder (Contractor) and associated subcontractors will also be required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the above specified date for receiving and opening of the bids, except as specifically may be provided by law. The Berks-Montgomery Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals or parts thereof or items therein and to waive defects or irregularities in said proposals.
