City View Park Improvements and the Phase I Improvements - 12th Ward Projects. The work for both projects includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, oversight and permits required to demolish and properly dispose of all items shown, install E&S controls, playground equipment including footings, site furnishings, fencing, signage, pavement/ turf markings, wheel stops, drainage piping, concrete stairs with handrails, concrete curbing, sidewalk, and asphalt paving, and all other work shown or reasonably implied. Bids for both projects must be accompanied by a certified check, or a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount.A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder for each project as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing wage rates shall apply to both projects. Questions may be submitted through portal Clarifications (From Vendors) tab on or before 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Responses will be provided via portal all registered parties. The City of Hazleton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
