Renovation of a residential development in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The project will be completed under one (1) prime contract: Kitchen Replacement Work at Vine West All Bidders must be registered on the A+E Group's Bidders List. A Bidder must obtain Contracting Documents from A+E Group to register the Bidder on the Bidders List. Each Bid when submitted must be accompanied by a Bid Security which shall not be less than ten (10%) percent of the amount of the Total Base Bid; a Non-Collusion Affidavit; Statement of Bidders Qualification; and Representations, Certifications and Other Statements of Bidders HUD Form 5369-A. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Instruction to Bidders. A Bidder must obtain Contracting Documents from A+E Group to register the Bidder on the Bidders List. Bidders must submit their Bid on the Bid Form provided. Bidders shall not alter this form in anyway. Attention is called to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity and the payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Non Technical Specifications must be paid on the Project. All contractors and subcontractors will be required to adhere to Section - 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended. The Housing Authority of the City of Hazleton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of the Bids, without consent of the Housing Authority of the City of Hazleton All questions about the meaning or intent of the Project Manual and Drawings shall be submitted to the Architect in writing.
