Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, and oversight for mobilization, roadway restoration, milling and overlay, and maintenance and protection of traffic. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Davis Bacon Wage Rates shall apply to this contract. All Bidders must be PENNDOT Prequalified as a Prime Contractor for their role and tasks they complete. Questions may be submitted through electronically Questions tab on or before 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Responses will be provided via electronically to all registered parties. The City of Hazleton is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. The City of Hazleton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of 90 days.
