The work for Alternate Bid 4 consists of over 80 linear feet of 6-inch water main, over 490 square feet of concrete sidewalk replacement, over 280 square feet of brick sidewalk replacement, and other related work. The Engineer's Estimate of cost for this work is as follows: Base Bid: $650,360.00 Additional Bid 1: $269,510.00 Additional Bid 2: $67,840.00 Additional Bid 3: $68,940.00 Additional Bid 4: $55,765.00 All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
