Qualified consultants will provide Site Engineering review, Equipment recommendation, system design and installation to complete the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre's funding that was received by the City of Spruce Grove in June 2022. Major aspects of the project include in principle, but not limited to: Review seven (7) selected City of Spruce Grove municipal locations for twenty (20) EV chargers Recommend EV charging system brand, selection shall meet at a minimum: Charging system must be rated for outdoor operations to -40oC Must have ability to have two charging points on a single pole Units must be vandal resistant Maintenance components must readily available Collected data must remain in Canada Utilizing a qualified trades install EV chargers Commission and provide training to City of Spruce Grove staff. Bid Security:Not required Certification of Recognition required City of Business License required The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
