Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Pincher Creek, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The expected work schedule will be from August to December 2022. The replacement structure will consist of a prefabricated modular steel truss clear span bridge (30.48m in length). The bridge and precast abutment seats will be procured separately from the Construction Contractor but the unloading and coordination of unloading shall be the responsibility of the Construction Contractor. Anticipated bid items may include, but are not limited to the following. Items are subject to change: Mobilization (Lump Sum) Demolition and Disposal of the Existing Structure (Lump Sum) Excavation - Structural (Approximately 70 Cubic Metres) Prefabricated Bridge Install (Lump Sum)(includes precast abutment seats) Backfill - Crushed Granular - Des. 2 Class 40/25 (Approximately 50 Cubic Metres) Roadway Work Including the Following: Gravel Surfacing - Des. 4 Class 20 (Approximately 50 Tonnes) Topsoil Placement (Approximately 50 Square Metres) Hydroseeding (Approximately 50 Square Metres) Erosion and Sediment Control - Silt Fence (Approximately 60 Metres)
