For the Modernization of the Existing Elevators and the equipment at Griffiths House Clarification deadline 7/29/2022 4:00 pm A certified check or bank draft payable to the Housing Authority of the County of Dauphin or a satisfactory bid bond on the prescribed form executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to Fifteen Percent (15 %) of the base bid shall be submitted with each bid. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the contract must be paid on this project and that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex, handicap or national origin. Bidders are also advised that HUD's Section 3 requirements apply to this contract. Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) are encouraged to bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond or irrevocable letters of credit. The Housing Authority of the County of Dauphin reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority of the County of Dauphin. The contractor will have Ninety (90) consecutive calendar days to complete all work.
