Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Merritt, British Columbia. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

Work will include the resurfacing of the concrete bridge decks, the rehabilitation of the joints of both structures, and the reseating of the bearings and the installation of a keeper system to the north abutment of both structures. The Site is located on Highway 5 approximately 2.5 kms north of the Highway 5A/97C junction (Exit 286), in Merritt. The Site is at Nicola River Bridge East (No. 0284E) and West (No. 02843W). TIMELINE: Tender is cancelled. Timelines for re-tender and construction are undetermined. Further update may be available in late spring 2025, upon budget approvals.
