Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Westphalia, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project is organized into a Base Bid and Alternates for construction of approximately 8,000 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main replacement along with new water services and fire hydrants, 35 water service transfers and a new generator. Incidental roadway reconstruction includes roughly 1,300 tons of HMA, sidewalk and driveway replacement and all related work. A pre-bid conference will not be held. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. This project is funded through the State of Michigan Drinking Water State Revolving Fund which requires that Federal Wage Rates be utilized. We would like to call the bidders attention to the DavisBacon/Prevailing Federal Wage Rates, 29 CFR Part 5- Labor Standards Provisions for Federally Assisted Projects, Debarment/Suspension Certification, and American Iron and Steel Contract Language.
