RIDDLE RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT RIDDLE FIRE STATION SEISMIC RETROFIT Riddle Rural Fire Protection District will be releasing a Request for Proposal utilizing a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) process for the project description of the existing Riddle Fire Station Seismic Retrofit This meeting will include a familiarization tour of the subject building. Construction costs for this project shall not exceed $1,231,610.00 Project Description: The seismic retrofit of Riddle Fire Station includes the rehabilitation to the existing lateral system components in order to meet the requirements for "Immediate Occupancy" as outlined in ASCE 41-17. This will be accomplished by adding to or altering the existing structure and lateral load path to the building foundation. PROJECT COMPONENTS: In general, the Riddle Fire Station Seismic Retrofit project may include the following components: 1.Diaphragm strengthening 2.Wall Strengthening 3.Out-of-Plane Wall to Diaphragm Connections 4.In-plane Wall to Diaphragm Connections 5.Replacement of building finishes incidental to seismic strengthening
