** per Addendum 1 bid date has been extended from 8/1/22 to 8/2/22 The Alaska Railroad is seeking qualified contractors to provide pier replacements for Bridge 147.4. Work to be completed under this contract includes, but is not limited to; the removal of the existing northernmost pier to an elevation that is below the current mudline; installation of two new deep foundation elements (four (4) pile array for each element), to include the installation of two (2) new pre-cast concrete pile caps and a Steel Plate Girder; the assembly and installation of the Owner provided 26' ballast deck approach span; and the disposal of all materials generated.
