As of September 26, 2022, design development documents are underway. Bidding is expected to be early January 2023. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Questions Due Date: Sep 13th 2021, 5:00 PM AKDT The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting proposals from qualified A/E firms for the services to design a new Emergency Services Facility in Palmer, Alaska. The new facility will be located on a 5.72 acre parcel at the corner of the Glenn Hwy. and E. Marsh Rd., specifically 5. The project scope is to design a combined facility that will address the operational needs for Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Medical Training, Emergency Services Telecommunications and use by the Palmer Fire Department. See the proposal document for detail. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
