Renovation of an educational facility in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Work shall include furnishing of labor, material, and equipment. Bids will be received for single-prime, mechanical contractor. All proposals shall be lump sum. Project specific questions, bidding procedures, preferred brand alternates, performance specifications and HUB information will be addressed for this project. Bidders may obtain Bidding Documents electronically and submit Pre-Bid Questions by visiting website. At the top of the website select Bidding, and find the applicable project. To obtain Bidding Documents select the Bid Documents link and complete the Bid Documents Request Form to receive a key that will allow access to the documents. To submit a pre-bid question, select the Submit a Question link. Only Bidders or entities who obtain Bid Documents through Moseley Architects via the electronic process above will be considered Plan-holders. All others who obtain electronic Bid Documents or hard/paper Bid Documents through other means, including Plan Rooms, other Contractors, Owner, or third-party websites (Dodge, Bidsource, iSqFt., etc) are not considered Plan-holders. Only Plan-holders will be notified of Addenda." Bidders shall use complete sets of Bidding Documents in preparing bids; neither the Owner nor Engineer assumes responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. All contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license as required under the state laws governing their respective trades. NOTE: The bidder shall identify on its bid proposal the minority business participation it will use on the project. Forms are included within the Proposal Form in the bid documents. Failure to complete these forms is grounds for rejection of the bid. (GS143-128.2c Effective 1/1/2002.) Said deposit shall be retained by the owner as liquidated damages in event of failure of the successful bidder to execute the contract within ten days after the award or to give satisfactory surety as required by law. Paymentwillbemadebasedonninetyfivepercent(95%)ofmonthlyestimatesandfinal No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
