Royal Valley USD 337 Board of Education will receive sealed bids on a General Contract for Construction, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, for the referenced project as described below. Bids shall be on a stipulated sum basis; segregated bids will not be accepted. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Approximate area of building: 12,500 SF Addition and 1000 SF Renovation Abbreviated written summary: Briefly and without force and effect on Contract Documents, work of Contract can be summarized as follows: Demolish current free-standing building. In its place construct a two level addition for the high school Sitework: Building pad prep and minor work for ramps and stairs. Foundations: Concrete trench footings. Structural Frame: Steel beams, columns, and joists. Exterior Building Envelope: Metal stud and brick or metal panels. Doors, Windows & Hardware: Flush wood doors, Steel frames and doors, Aluminum storefront and storm hardened windows and doors : Painted CMU block, painted drywall, brick, VCT, LVT, carpet tile floors, and Specialties / Equipment: Markerboards / Tackboards, music casework, sound panels. Mechanical Work: Complete RTU systems with VAV boxes. Remodel work of HVAC and Electrical Work: Distribution Equipment, wiring, receptacles, light fixtures.
