Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Lynchburg, Virginia. Design plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
This project will result in opening two sites for industrial development in the Ivy Creek Innovation Park. Funds requested for FY 2025 cover onsite infrastructure construction and permitting for road, water and sewer access. Funds requested in FY 2026 cover mass grading, permitting and construction documents. Funds requested in FY 2027-2028 include mass grading construction. Together Sites A and B are 64 acres; Site A can accommodate a building of up to 600,000 square feet. Site B can accommodate one building of up to 50,000 square feet and another of 20,000 square feet. Project is in City of Lynchburg capital budget FY2025-2029 CIP. As of September 13, project is funded for construction FY2027-2028. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
