The Work consists of the replacement of existing aging small diameter water mains with approximately 4,625 linear feet of 6-inch, 8-inch and 12-inch diameter water main as well as replacement of approximately 1,460 linear feet of water services and installation of 8 new fire hydrants. The work also consists of replacement of approximately 1,410 linear feet of 6-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch, 15-inch sanitary sewer main and CIPP lining of approximately 1,130 linear feet of sanitary sewer main. Additionally, included is the rehabilitation of approximately 215 vertical feet of existing sanitary manholes, the replacement of 6 sanitary sewer manholes totaling 26 vertical feet, the installation of 3 new sanitary sewer manholes totaling 18 vertical feet, the rehabilitation or replacement of approximately 690 linear feet of sewer laterals, and all associated pavement restoration, erosion control, maintenance of traffic measures, and appurtenances. The work also includes replacement of 13 storm inlets, replacement of approximately 300 linear feet of associated storm pipe and installation of 6 new doghouse storm manholes. The project is located in the City of Lynchburg along the following Streets: Madison Street, Federal Street, Jackson Street, 6TH Street, 7TH Street, 8TH Street, 9TH Street.
