Milling, base, and overlay of Township owned roads Major items include 3,515 SY of milling, 20 SY of base repair and 370 TN of wearing course. Clarification Deadline 7/28/2022 10:00 AM The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay a fee of 1/3% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through electronically and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Darby Township, must accompany each bid. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, in the best interest of the Township.
