This project includes furnishing and/or installing all labor, equipment, materials and incidentals required to perform all the work outlined in the project manual. This is to include, but is not limited to, installation of pipes vertical and horizontal steam and chilled water lines up to 10 inches in diameter, installation of steam and chilled water valves and heat exchangers, connecting to existing mechanical systems, and installing an architectural enclosure for exterior piping. Opinion of probable construction cost for this project is $850,000. The design team consists of: Mechanical Engineer Scheeser Buckley Mayfield (SBM) 1540 Corporate Woods Pkwy, Uniontown, OH 44685 Architect Van Dyke Architects LLC 812 Huron Rd E STE 413, Cleveland, OH 44115. Utility Provider Akron Energy Systems, LLC 222 Opportunity Pkwy, Akron, OH 44307 Bids for the above-described work shall be submitted on forms (or copies thereof) furnished with the bid documents and in accordance with the plans and specifications, dated 7/15/2022, authored by SBM. Bids shall be addressed to The Fiscal Officer of the Akron-Summit County Public Library. All sealed bids shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope ASCPL Main Library District Energy. Bids received after the time designated in this advertisement will be returned unopened. The Akron-Summit County Public Library District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and any part or parts of any bid, and also the right to waive any informalities in the bid.
