As of November 10, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been established, however, construction is projected to commence sometime in Spring of 2023. The work will include, but not necessarily be limited to ADA curb ramp and crosswalk improvements along Woodlawn Avenue and Northside Drive. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Only those questions submitted online via electronically shall be considered. Questions received after 12:00 PM, Monday, August 1, 2022, regarding the project will not be acknowledged. This Contract is subject to the following: the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions; the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions; the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002; the Pennsylvania One Call Act, also known as the Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended; the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Condition; requirement of a noncollusion affidavit; the non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions; and the Public Works Employment Verification Act.
