City Landscape Maintenance Program All questions, clarifications, or comments must be submitted to bidinquiries@cityoflancasterca.gov, no later than 10 AM on Friday, July 22, 2022. No questions will be answered individually. All questions will be answered by a written addenda issued no later than July 25, 2022. Upon failure of the successful Contractor to make satisfactory progress or adequately correct deficiencies to abide by the terms of the Agreement, or to obtain, furnish, or keep in force any permit, license, bond or insurance, the City shall have the right to terminate the Agreement for default. Written notice of termination shall be mailed to the successful Contractor at its address. Notice shall be effective when mailed. Upon receipt of notice, the successful Contractor shall immediately stop work and relinquish all project files to the City. The City may thereafter pursue the work or hire another Contractor to do so and charge the successful Contractor liquidated damages. The term of this contract will be for two (2) years, to begin September 1, 2022 with the City having the sole option to renew the contract with the Contractor for oneyear extensions for an additional three (3) years. The contract is subject and contingent upon funds being appropriated by the City Council each fiscal year. If such appropriations are not made, the contract shall automatically terminate without penalty to the City. The City of Lancaster reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to delete portions of any and all proposals, to waive any informality or irregularity in any proposal received or in the RFP procedures, and to be the sole judge of the merits of the qualifications received. Be advised that unauthorized conditions, limitations, or provisions attached to the Proposal may render it unresponsive and may cause its rejection.
