This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Port St Lucie, Florida. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

It is the intent of the City to enter into a per unit fixed price contract with one (1) qualified Contractor to perform all necessary Miscellaneous Mowing and Landscape Maintenance Services Citywide for the City of Port St. Lucie, which includes: o Neighborhood Signs o City Signs o Traffic Calming Areas The Contract period is a three (3) year term with an option to renew for one (1) additional two (2) year term. The Contractor shall supply all labor, supervision, equipment, machinery, tools, materials, transportation, and other incidentals necessary to comply with the specifications set forth herein. The services shall include, but are not limited to, litter and debris removal, mowing, edging/string trimming, weed spraying/removal, pruning, pressure cleaning, and mulch installation of neighborhood signs, city, signs, traffic calming areas, and other miscellaneous areas as specified. The Contractor shall have the required certifications and/or License. All vehicles shall either have a placard or magnetic sign identifying their company name. The Contractor's personnel shall be in company uniform. The Contractor's personnel must wear reflective vest at all times during the course of the work. The City's schedule for mowing reflects the direction the City has taken to standardize the level of service required throughout the City. It is the desire of the City to complete a regular service cycle (rotation) over ten (10) consecutive workdays. The City has an estimated 106 sites for Neighborhood Signs, City Signs, Traffic Calming Areas, and other Miscellaneous Mowing & Landscape Maintenance Services Citywide. The City reserves the right to add additional locations as the city grows and changes. Precaution shall be exercised at all times for the protection of persons, including employees, and property. NOTE: All Service Locations listed in Schedule A are approximately 0.01 acres or less than four hundred and thirty-five (435) sq ft. The safety and consideration of convenience to the public is of paramount importance in executing the requirements of this bid. The Contractor shall not compromise public safety or allow any conditions that will inconvenience the public in the execution of works specified herein. Traffic Control The Contractor shall be responsible for traffic control during operations performed by the Contractor's personnel and/or subcontractors. Traffic control shall be in conformance with Federal Highway Administration, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), latest edition and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Roadway and Traffic Design Standards, Latest edition. The foregoing requirements are to be considered as a minimum and the Contractor's compliance shall in no way relieve the Contractor of final responsibility for providing adequate traffic control devices for the protection of the public and employees throughout the work areas.
