The work to be performed under these specifications consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for the 2021 Surface Water Infrastructure Repairs project. This project will involve maintenance for three (3) detention ponds and maintenance for five (5) flow control structures within the City of Mukilteo. Specific work includes, but, is not limited to: Excavation of pond material to restore pond volumes, replacement and creation of access roads, replacement of flow control outlet for one of the ponds, cleaning of existing storm drain structures, replacement of damaged flow control elements within existing flow control structures, and traffic control, The estimated cost for this project is in the range of $84,600 - $105,800. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. : No pre-bid site inspection or meeting is scheduled. Workers performing work in conjunction with the project shall receive the prevailing rate of wage pursuant to the Prevailing Wages on Public Works Act (Chapter 39.1.2 RCW) Bid Bond Required: Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount, ofsuch bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfa.c-tory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City ofMukilteo.
