Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Sunset, Utah. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 125,000-square-foot educational facility; for the construction of a 220,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The existing Sunset Junior High School, 1610 North 250 West, Sunset, Utah, was constructed in 1963 with additions in 1964, 1983, and 1998. The building is 125,000 square feet on a 12.2-acre site. Plans are in the works to construct a new two-story, 220,000 square foot replacement school in the playfields to the east, demolish the existing building, and construct new playfields where the current building now stands. This project is contingent upon the passing of a bond in November of 2022.
