Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 143-128.1A, the County of Forsyth is soliciting proposals from qualified designbuild teams interested in providing professional design and construction services for the Town Fork Watershed Improvement Project. This contract will be State funded. This RFQ provides complete information on the services being sought, the submittal requirements and contract timelines. The End of Question Period is 4:00 pm, September 28, 2022. Questions and requests for information to this RFQ shall be addressed by email to bowmanml@forsyth.cc. Responses will be posted by written addendum and sent to all firms who have directly obtained the full document and to all websites where the original advertisement was posted The County of Forsyth reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. This RFQ does not obligate the County to pay any cost incurred by respondents in the preparation and submission of a response, nor does it obligate the County to accept or contract for any expressed or implied services. Provide professional design/build services for the replacement of the principal spillway pipe supports at Town Fork Watershed number 1B, located at 6989 Salem Chapel Road, Walnut Cove NC 27052. Services are to include design services, providing sealed construction documents, obtaining all necessary permits, construction of improvements, and assisting with project closeout. Per state statute, plans and specifications are required to be sealed by a licensed engineer. Project Schedule: It is anticipated the selected firm will be released to begin the project approximately 4-6 weeks after the RFQ response deadline.
