Plans call for renovations of the existing running track, including removal of the existing asphalt track & field events, removal of existing concrete field events, installing new track concrete curbs, new stone and asphalt base, concrete base, rubber track surface course, grading, drainage, sodding, seeding, landscaping, & mulching. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, supervision, labor, materials, and any other incidentals necessary for the running track improvements as indicated on the approved construction drawings, and as outlined in the specifications. The work shall include, but is not limited to, site demolition, erosion control, grading, drainage, installing concrete, installing aggregate base and paving, fine grading, installing sod, installing track and field events polyresin surfacing system, seeding and mulching, and any other incidentals necessary for the completion of the project. Bidders will have until 5:00 P.M., local time, on February 21, 2023 to submit questions to the Stokes County Schools Maintenance Department in charge of the project for clarification and inclusion in a project addendum to be issued to all bidders.
