Site work for a water / sewer project in Port Angeles, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the installation of approximately 2,200 lineal feet of 8 and 10 Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) liner and restoration/repair of 5 sewer manholes located at Shane Park on the North side of West 8th Street between East E and East G Street. Contractor will be responsible for managing sanitary sewer flows during the CIPP lining and manhole restoration using a bypass system, storage (Vacuum Truck) or other approved method. Partial road closures will be allowed during active work hours with traffic control provided by the bidder. The Engineers estimate for the Main Bid $230,000 - $270,000. The Engineers estimate for the Additive Bid is $40,000 - $60,000. The time of completion (performance period) is 30 working days. The City of Port Angeles in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
