Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of August 06th, 2022, project has not been awraded yet. The award of the construction contract tentatively scheduled for City Council’s review and approval on October 11th. The work to be performed under these Special Provisions consists of constructing the Mangan Park Improvements in Sacramento at 2230 34th Avenue. The improvements include clearing and grubbing, erosion control, concrete walkways, site furnishing, play area equipment, fabric canopy shade structure, play area concrete ramp, play area wood fiber, signage, basketball court, parking lot striping, ramp, site furnishing, concrete park sign, archery targets, irrigation system modification and landscaping. If any bidder wishes to review and ask questions about the Section 3 requirements to fully understand what pre-bid outreach is required to demonstrate that the bidder made good faith efforts for participation by minority business enterprises and hiring low income/public housing residents, the City will hold an information pre-bid meeting if a request is received prior to 2:00 PM, August 5, 2022.
