Renovation of a detention facility in Ordway, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
This AVCF project consists of six Living Units, each having three Dayrooms and each dayroom having three tiers. The existing toilet & shower room occurs at each tier and in each Dayroom, 54 total occurrences. The existing rooms will be renovated to be toilet rooms only. Adjacent cells will berenovated to become shower rooms. The AVCF Shower and Toilet Improvements project includes, but is not limited to, field verification, selective demolition, concrete, flooring systems, gypsum board wall assemblies, plaster wall assemblies, stainless steel wall panel assemblies, masonry, detention grade stainless steel plumbing fixtures, detention grade toilet accessories, shower enclosures, drains, sanitary sewer, and plumbing systems, etc. and all related construction for a complete and operational installation. Estimated Construction Cost: $8,500,000.00 BID SECURITY: A bid security of not less than 5% of the bid price is required when the price is estimated to be $50,000 or more. The security shall be a bond by a surety company, the equivalent in cash, or otherwise supplied in a form satisfactory for the State. Noncompliance requires the bid to be rejected as nonresponsive.
